The backbone of Korea

Silla, Baekje, Goguryeo and Gaya were the founding kingdoms of the Korean peninsula. Their kings, queens, generals and artists shaped the language, art and identity that came after them.

That's the name. Four kingdoms, one backbone, and a deck that puts them all on the table together.

C:\CHUCKCHU\README.TXT

CHUCKCHU is a team climbing card game for four players, rebuilt around Korea's four ancient kingdoms. Sit across from your partner, call your shot, and race to empty your hand first while your opponents try to stop you.

If you've played Tichu, you'll feel at home in minutes. If you haven't, the new rules sheet and in-box cheat sheets are written to get a new table playing on the first hand.

Every face card is a real figure from Korean history or founding legend: kings, queens, generals and one very famous musician.

FAQ

How many players?

Four players in two teams of two. Partners sit across from each other.

Do I need to know Tichu?

No. The rules sheet teaches from scratch, and the cheat-sheet cards cover combinations and scoring at the table.

Are these real historical figures?

Some are recorded history and some come from founding legends. The artwork is our interpretation, not a documented portrait. A lore guide explains each figure.

When will I be charged?

Your deck and any shipping are paid when you order. Pay-direct and KakaoPay orders are confirmed once your payment arrives.

Can I order from Korea?

Yes. Korea orders are ₩33,000, paid with KakaoPay, with free pickup in Seoul at 경리단길 or 신촌.

Will my deck look exactly like the website?

Not necessarily. Artwork, card designs, colors, packaging and contents are subject to change at our discretion while we finalize the first edition. What arrives may differ from these previews. That is part of the surprise.

How do I reach you?

Use the contact form below. We answer in English or Korean.
